I miss your laugh – it made me feel like everything was right,
I miss your blonde hairs, which we both knew were really white.
I miss your strawberry roan mane that would fall into your face;
I miss your voice and the sweet accent that I couldn’t place.
I miss your kisses, rough stubble gently grazing my cheek;
I miss the scar above your lip that only I could see.
I miss the way you touched my body, it burned me up like fire,
I miss the changing colours in your eyes, filled with desire.
I miss you darling, I thought together we were running free,
But most of all I miss the fact that you no longer miss me.
