Though I’m not personally a fashionista (I would happily spend the rest of my life alternating between a summery white cotton dress or jodphurs & cowboy boots) this exhibition would stun anyone.

This is the first showing of one of Denmark’s most famous designers – Roy Krejberg – in Denmark (he was previously the creative designer at Kenzo Home). Together with Indian designer, Peachoo Datwani, they make up Peachoo+Krejberg, a Parisian Fashion House and the exhibition celebrates 10 years of their work.

“Through fable-like creations, architectural shapes and distressed textiles the visitor is taken on a journey through dark and poetic fashion… The creations are monochromatic and the silhouettes are voluminous, deconstructed and layered, often referencing cross-cultural dress cultures.”

From bejewelled takes on the Arab batula to a feathered cage hat – this exhibition showcases other cultures and conceptual fashion using a bizarre but oddly compelling array of mediums. Definitely worth a wander around in my opinion at least!
